CHAUDHARY RANBIR SINGH UNIVERSITY, JIND (HARYANA)
CRSU was formerly known as Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre and, was established in 2014 by the Government of Haryana. The University is recognised by the UGC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The University has a total of six faculty offering PG programmes. The University has adopted six schools of Jind District, namely Government Senior Sec. School, Rajpura, Kasturbha Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Safa, Government Senior Sec. School, Bibipur, Govt. Senior Sec. School, Digana, Government Primary School, Dhani Bidwali, and Gopal Vidya Mandir Sen.Sec.School.
The University offers a dynamic curriculum which is prepared based on the research and global industry requirements. Currently, CRSU is offering 26 courses (17 regular and nine with Self Financing Schemes) at UG, PG, and doctoral levels in Commerce, Management, Physical Science, Social Science, and Education. The UG programmes such as BBA, B.Ed, BSc, BA, BCA, BCom (Hons) are offered by the constituent colleges associated with the University.
CRSU ensures that students get the right exposure and learn new skills. To achieve this objective, CRSU has established various cells and committees such as Sports Council, RTI Cell, Yoga Cell, Research Cell, Health Centre, and many more.
CRSU has started the National Service Scheme to inspire voluntary work among the students and teachers through community interactions. The scheme conducts various activities such as Mega Blood Donation Camp, Cleanliness Drives, Polio Vaccination Campaign, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Awareness Campaign, and Tree Plantation Drives.
